/Rise stopped in her tracks completely. She would know this presence anywhere; she turned and stared at Souji. Having not spoken to him since….the incident she was unsure what to do at first. Did he still what to talk with her? Was he mad that she ran? Rise attempted to push away other people’s thoughts so she could read Souji more clearly. It wasn’t working, too many people were thinking. Too many voices. She slowly approached him getting more and more nervous.
H-Hello Souji. Um…its been awhile.
[It…it was her. It was her and he knew it. It was the same voice as the other Rise, but in a tone that was all too familiar. Shouldn’t she be running by now? She was scared so scared of him of that beast ever since that incident. Why was she approaching him now? But…He should at least say something, now that she’s not avoiding him now.]
Its…um good to see someone I know….Souji we aren’t in the same Inaba but I don’t know why….or how.
/Rise felt she could come closer to him, she stopped in front of Souji. Himiko was very unhappy at this.
/She pressed her right hand to her temple, Himiko’s panic was giving her a headache. She shook it off hoping her persona would calm down.
At least it wasn’t as loud as before….
I-I’ve missed you…..I’ve missed talking to you…..
/She looked down at her feet, unable to keep eye contact.
You aren’t mad at me…for running are you? If you are I understand, I mean I did kinda not talk to you after that. But….I um…
/The tears started coming out before she could stop them. She kept staring at the ground, letting the tears fall from her face.
I….I got scared. Himiko wasn’t h-helping, she just kept s-screaming at me. It was so loud, louder then I ever heard her. She j-just kept saying whatever burst out of you w-was death. I-I could feel what she meant….I must have made you feel so b-bad when I ran. Heck I knew you f-felt that way. I’m so sorry.
/Would sorry be enough for running from your friend? Rise wasn’t sure, she doubted it. Why would someone stay friends with her anyway? She knew it would never last. She could never be close to someone; someone who sees the real Rise. If she had a real Rise. She could not think of anything else to say; she just stood there sobbing.
God I’m so pathetic.
